This Acti9 C60PV-DC is a miniature low voltage circuit breaker (MCB) dedicated to multi-string photovoltaic installations. It is a 2P automatic switch with 2 protected poles, a nominal current of 16A, and a B tripping curve. It can be mounted on a DIN rail for modular installation. Its width is 8 modules of 9mm. As a circuit breaker, its breaking capacity, according to IEC/EN 60947-2, is 1.5kA at 800VDC and 3kA at 650VDC. It is designed to protect the cables located between each string of photovoltaic modules and the photovoltaic inverter against overloads and short circuits. It has an IP40 protection rating (according to IEC/EN 60529) at its terminals in the modular cabinet. Its fast closing mechanism, independent of the handle's operating speed, enhances its lifespan. Tripping or position indication functions are supplied remotely by adding electrical auxiliaries. The presence of the green strip guarantees the physical opening of the contacts and allows operations on the downstream circuit to be carried out with complete safety.
